Traveling Montana Rail Link’s Fourth Subdivision, an eastbound BNSF train approaches Trout Creek, Montana, on the evening of September 20, 2012. As the train streaks through the darkness and casts its reflection on the still waters of Frog Pond, thousands of stars and the Milky Way swirl overhead in the night sky during a 92 minute exposure.
