| Lightoil fired cogwheel steamlocomotive H 2/3 # 12 named "Kanton Bern", built by SLM Winterthur in 1992 for the Brienz Rothorn Bahn, is shoving cars B9 and B3 on the grade of 25.0 % between Planalp and Oberstaffel towards the summit. On sight distance is following diesel locomotive # 10 with cars B7 and B8. Since 20 years now the economic and environmental friendly steam traction is dominating the Brienzer Rothorn.
