Two "mother" or "master" CSX units, GP-40-2's 6416 and 6469 in the center, are flanked by slug units 2286 and 2332 (former GP35 and GP40 respectively) as they cross the Ohio River on former PRR's bridge from Louisville, Ky. to Jeffersonville, Ind. on Aug. 13, 2010. Slug 2286 has concrete in place of a prime mover, and the crew has what "air conditioning" is available -- an open front door and cab windows. Local Y129 will interchange with the Louisville & Indiana RR at Jeffersonville and then serve customers on the remaining 10-mile former B&O Nabb Branch.
