| Late evening at Sioux Valley Junction found this westbound extra getting underway for Huron powered by 1515 and 6613 along with 15 cars. This job had been in the hole for quite awhile waiting out a meet between freights 495 and 482. After the two road freights finally cleared the 1515 went to work making a pick up of 6613 and a few cars. The crew was obviously perturbed about the long wait at Sioux Valley and as soon as possible the burbling Alco poured out the smoke as they departed into the evening sun. |
