Remarks & Notes
A GP-30 works the "hump" at the Brooks Ave. Yard. Cars were cut loose on the hump after a slight shove and they rolled down into the North Yard. Switches were all thrown by hand to get the cars on the right track in the yard - no automation present here.

One of the most fascinating aspects of railroad operations, hump yards are a necessity for sorting cars, and putting out trains 24 hours a day.
