Remarks & Notes
A scene at the The Steam Gala on the Ribble Steam Railway on Sunday 18th September. Guest loco No 2. Fulstow, a Peckett 0-4-0 built in 1928. Heads resident 1908-built John Howe with a train as it crosses the road near Preston Docks. Fulstow spent its working life at Cawdor Quarry, Matlock until withdrawal in 1970. It was restored in the village of Fulstow in 1988 and was then sold in 1997. It has just had a ten-year overhaul and normally works on the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway
