An X'trapolis set bound for Eltham clatters back onto the double track, after descending the 1 in 50 grade from Heidelberg. The short Rosanna - Heidelberg section is one of several single track bottle-necks on the Hurstbridge line, and contains a short tunnel which has been used as an excuse not to duplicate for almost half a century.
