Southern Pacific 4-8-4 4449 is on her way from Portland, OR to Tacoma, WA for Cascade Rails 2011, this year's NRHS convention.
The train has just crossed the swing bridge over the Columbia River and is pulling into the Vanvouver, WA station. There it will pick up a large group of passenger who rode the morning Amtrak Cascades train from Tacoma so they could return behind 4449. The weather was nice and the trip was excellent.
