| LS&I picked up the a few spare U-boats from DE for parts in late 1994 early 1995. They passed through Trout Lake on their way to the LS&I and I was able to look them over pretty good. They were in fairly good shape and the cabs were really clean. The WC was power short so LS&I quickly lettered and renumbered them and leased one of them to WC for a little extra cash. They soon enough ended up in the Eagle Mills dead line and donated parts to keep the LS&I's fleet of ex BN U30C's running. |
