| Westbound CSX Grain Train #8788 slowly ascends Afton Mountain where it will stop just ahead at the west Afton signal while waiting for an approaching eastbound Buckingham Branch train headed towards Charlottesville, VA. Today’s power consists of EMD units #8788 (SD60 - 3,800 HP built in 1985 for Burlington Northern with roster #8301) and #8734 (SD60I - 3,800 HP built in 1995 for Conrail with roster #5604). March 2011. |
