| Amidst a sky fresh from a previous day's rainfall, a trio of GP60M's return to Kaiser yard in Fontana, CA after dropping off bare-tables that were stored farther down the line. This move came as a surprise to me in my quest to shoot the remaining signals leftover from the Santa Fe days on this line (ironically outlasting many of the mechanical signals that once kept Santa Fe's still heavily used main lines in check today. But not for long). Originally thinking it was the local turn that services the remaining industries, I wasn't expecting it till much later. |
