Remarks & Notes |
Mount Nebo at 11,928 feet elevation forms a massive backdrop for Union Pacific’s LUL57 local at Juab siding, Utah. The local is known as the Lynndyl Local and runs south on the Sharp Sub from Provo yard about 80 miles to a junction with the Lynndyl Sub at Lynndyl, Utah. It returns back north to Provo the next day. There are two major traffic sources on the sub; the coal loadout at Sharp and the cement plant at Leamington. Several other businesses provide less traffic. Mount Nebo is the highest and southernmost peak in the Wasatch Range. |
