General Belgrano Railroad's action at Gonzalez Catán. General Electric U12C #6710 has just arrived at the small freight yard with train number 7310 from La Plata, its consist bereft of revenue freight loads and full of company-freight: tank cars with fuel for diesel locomotives and flat cars with rails welded in 18-meter-long bars at the La Plata Rail Welding Shops of Ferrocarriles Argentinos. After doubling its caboose and exchanging ends, the train will complete its run to Tapiales Yard. Just behind #6710's roof sister unit #6742 waits with a commuter consist of brown coaches built by the railroad in the early 1950's at Tafí Viejo Shops, in the Northern Argentina province of Tucumán.
