| The American Freedom Train #1 (SP 4449) is assisted west by (then) UP 8444, after some TLC on the 4449's drivers by UP forces in Omaha. The rest of the AFT consist has already moved west, on schedule, toward Ogden with BN diesels. The AFT #1 will reunite there with the rest of the train and continue the tour. |
