| After the first couple of winters WC always seemed to have DM&IR SD9's prowling the property. These were normally paying back hp hours for the numerous WC units that ran through to the mines on the DM&IR in northern Minnesota. The alarm bells in the cab are ringing as DM&IR 150 arrives at Trout Lake leading WC 583 and 29 cars of train 35. A snow filled cut a few miles to the west gave both units some ground relay issues and made 150's hi nose a little taller. |
