Remarks & Notes
Bridges, Bridges, Bridges! As a colorful sunset lights up the Portland sky, one of numerous MAX trains cross the upper deck of the Steel Bridge. In the background are the Broadway bridge and the Fremont Bridge. All three have unique character, but the Steel Bridge stands alone as the only double-deck bridge with independent lifts in the world and the oldest vertical lift train bridge in the U.S. Amtrak, Freight trains and pedestrians traverse the lower deck and Vehicles, MAX and pedestrians use the top deck.

A far cry from the common wedgie ... and particularly well executed.
