| Grande Gold The Rebel of the Rockies first started applying this 6 foot tall version of its speed lettered logo on locomotives starting in 1968 with their last order of SD45s. From then on it would be applied to all repaints and new locomotives, it would even inspire the revamped Southern Pacific speed lettered logo after the 1988 merger. |
