Railfans are a hearty lot. Five Ithaca, NY fans followed this Conrail inspection train from Geneva, NY to Corning to Jersey Shore PA. Chase was "intense". This photographer, unfortunately, fell on a jagged beer bottle requiring a trip to the Corning hospital, multiple stiches in my "caboose" [still tender!] and shot of novacaine. Pain killer wore off at Jersey shore and trip home was interesting. Still, it was worth it!
