| "Early on one frosty morning" was the heading of a long ago article in Trains Magazine, but the words rightfully apply to this scene of a Ferrosur Roca GM-EMD GT22CW entering Las Flores Yard from the south. Cold reigns at 8.00 a.m. in the chilly Winter morning, with below-zero temperatures, the ground and roofs of locomotive and cars covered with a thick frost, and the shadows of the train and signal posts cast long by the still low sun arising in the prairie horizon. |
