| An unusual sight greeted me this morning: three blue and yellow SD40-2's leading a short westbound toward Glenwood. Here, they're approaching the location between Brooten and Sedan known to CPR crews simply as "the shoe." It's the place where westbound trains usually call ahead to Glenwood for yarding instructions and takes it's name from a now closed furniture store across the highway called "The Wooden Shoe." |
