| The Bombardier AC5000 test train has just finished a one mile run at top speed of 55 MPH between Pulaski and Kedzie stations and brakes for a station stop. This is the Lake Street branch of the Green line, running through the light industrial area on the west side of Chicago. The Lake Street elevated is unusual for Chicago in that the entire line ws built over a street instead of on private land alongside alleyways. |
