| 'Britomart' is one of many Hunslet 0-4-0 tanks supplied to the once extensive 2-foot gauge railways serving the Welsh slate industry. Built in 1899, she is one of several preserved examples, here doing driver experience runs at the Ffestiniog's main station during the 'Quirks & Curiosities' weekend. Now based at the Ffestiniog, 'Britomart' is steamed on special occasions only. |
