G.A.I.A. 1350 #6299 leaves General Mitre Railroad's passenger station in Cordoba with the mixed consist of train no. 218 "El Serrano" to Retiro Terminal in Buenos Aires. The service includes haulage of perishables and food products in containers at passenger-train speeds, so to make fast delivery of export goods. Locomotive # 6299, originally built in 1962 by an Italian-Argentinian joint enterprise named G.A.I.A., has been re-engined in 1986 with an ALCo. Model 251B diesel engine rated at 1.900 HP.
