Remarks & Notes
Powered by a Southern Pacific A-A-B-A F unit set, Amtrak Train 6 climbs the west slope of Donner Pass with a heavy train. The six Pullmans accommodated a large group of travel agents escorted by Art Lloyd. In order from the headend the Pullmans were a SP 4-4-2, two UP 10-6s, a CB&Q 10-6 and two CB&Q 6-5s. Quite a display western railroad post-war sleepers.
