Vestibule riding was always fun and accepted on the Rio Grande Zephyr. Rio Grande #18's headend is eastbound, downgrade west of Helper, UT, near Castle Gate, as seen from the vestibule of dome-observation Silver Sky. These were the days when five car trains were normal, before it became a standard gauge "Silverton Train."
