A rare Saturday morning LP3 approaches Wathen Lane as it departs Louisville and begins the long run south to Paducah. Today a road-slug/GP40-3 (2102/2105) is in the lead followed by seven GP38/40-2s and 58 cars. As seen here, power needing service is often gathered up at Louisville and sent to Paducah on LP3.
