Probably the only reason CSX hasn't demolished this old tower is that it was originally built by the Pennsylvania Railroad and they can't get the paperwork straight. The Pennsylvania Railroad tracks here were abandoned before the formation of Penn Central, but the B&O manned this tower into the first years of CSX.
