| So coming down from Tehachapi Loop last Thursday (12/17/09) through Bealville and Caliente it's a bright sunny morning then a couple miles west and bang -- Central Valley fog. The BNSF Bakerfield Sub Dispatcher is talking the Amtrak San Joaquins through the fog saying things like, "I will have no meets for you until Wasco." This is UP 8043 leading a mixed freight at Ilmon (I know because I took bright sunlight shots of the train at Caliente) . |
