Remarks & Notes
Breakfast of champions: Engineer Larry concentrates on the picture in the mirror as he runs long hood forward south towards Willada. His preferred snack of chips and Tabasco, visible perched on the control stand, qualifies for three of Joe Santucci's Five Basic Food Groups for Railroaders: grease, salt and cholesterol. (In all fairness, a cup of yogurt was also on the day's menu.) Of note, this ex-C&NW GP50's old UP road number, 5540, still shows through under the WAMX patch.
