| After more then 10 years the heavy rebuilding program for the ex SNCF (French Railways) Mikado 141 R 1244 is nearing completion. The 2-8-2 was built by Montreal Locomotive Works in 1946 and belongs to association "Mikado 1244" since 1975. She was operational in Switzerland from 1977 to 1998 and is due to steam again next year. |
