Remarks & Notes
More than half an hour ahaed of schedule, the oldest operational Ae 6/6 (in regular service) is pulling the empty tank car train 79078/75532 from Islikon to Basel RB (Basel shunting yard) near Winterthur towards Effretikon. The 54 years old veteran lost name and blazon of "Kanton Luzern" some years ago. The locomotive brought the full fuel train (1566 ton) from Basel RB to Islikon in the morning of the same day (train 75509/79027). It is very rare to see the Ae 6/6 locomotives with such heavy trains this days. In the background Neumühle grain elevator and the "Red Tower" in the centre of Winterthur near the station.
