Remarks & Notes 
A&WP 290 sits in the SERM shop in the midst of a cosmetic restoration. This engine enjoyed a brief stint as an active excursion engine in the late 1980s and early '90s. With all of the major railroads in the South having virtually banned steam, there is no where for the 290 to run these days, but she is in good hands at SERM.
