Remarks & Notes
Cogwheel steamlocomotive 7 of the Rigi-Bahn was the first locomotive, which was built in 1873 by the later wellknown Swiss Locomotive and Machine Works in Winterthur. Exhibited since 1959 in the Swiss Transport Museum in Lucerne, the engine returns to the tracks of the Rigibahnen this summer. Here she is standing on the sliding platform between the sheds of Goldau, ready for the brake tests on the mountain.
