Because of a derailment elsewhere on their system, CNW ran a dedicated GM parts train via the Milwaukee "J" line to Janesville from Proviso, instead of their own Harvard sub. The train is seen here in happier days working the now-closed GM plant at Janesville, in the Milwaukee yard. Both CNW and MILW served the plant, this train was powered by 2 motors and had 42 cars.
