Remarks & Notes
A 2 ft. gauge Henschel Tank Locomotive pulls an hourly train ride at Maine's Boothbay Railway Village. This unique museum displays the history of rural Maine from the 1800s through the early 1900s. Featured prominently is the history of Maine's 2 ft. railroads. While none of the rolling stock pictured here is from original Maine 2 footers, it is certainly representative of the character....and scale....of such railroads.
