Remarks & Notes
Whether close-up or at a distance, there are few sights more awe-inspiring than the Mt. Washington Railway trains assaulting the mountain. In this view taken from Marshfield Station, we see #6 "Kancamagus" topping Cold Spring Hill and approaching the Waumbek Water Tank (just visible above and to the right of the train). In the distance, "The Rockpile" and the next challenge the train will face.
