A great day at the West Coast Railway Co. Open Day at their Carnforth site. Lots of diesels etc. to look at , but this line up was the star of the show. Britannia class no. 70013 Oliver Cromwell, Royal Scot class 46115 Scots Guardsman, Jubilee class no. 5690 Leander and 8F no. 48151. 70013 was a surprise arrival, everyone expecting the loco not to make it. It is there for a little attention then main line running trials. 46115 was on show for the first time under its current ownership and since restoration to main line condition. The paint job was just dry, you could smell it! Last time I saw it running, the loco looked like this ,209161. Watch for more shots of the event, including close ups of these locos.
