| It is not often that steam enthusiasts get to photograph these historic machines in truly remote wilderness settings. Having waited patiently on the shores of the Cheat River for over an hour, I was rewarded with this scene of Western Maryland Shay #6 pulling her excursion train toward her home base at Cass. Although I was totally alone at this peaceful site, there were dozens of chasers waiting for her just a couple of miles up river at Cheat Bridge. |
