Looking north from the 18th Street ovrpass (at Lumber) we see the Amtrak engine servicing facilities, the St. Charles Air Line viaduct and, to the left, the Canal Street Wye. On the right, is the counterweight of the St. Charles Air Line bascule bridge. In the facility, are some F40PH, P42DC, an NCPU, and a SW10. Off to the left is a Dash 8-32BWH. And behind it all is the western edge of Chicago skyline, dominated by the Sears Tower. This was officially my first time that I used the internet to help me railfan.
