| For the celebration of 125 years Gotthard line, also a train from the Czech Republic came to Switzerland. Two great and famous 4-8-2 are leading the long train up the 1.2 % grade to Altenburg on the line Schaffhausen-Eglisau-Zürich, the blue 498.022 called "Albatros" and the black 475.179 "Gräfin" (Countess). The photo was taken on the section where the line goes over German territory for about 8 kilometers. |
