It is a long steady 18 mile climb from Galena, IL to east of Scale Mounds, IL. M338 is about done with the steady pull and will begin to get up to the 40 mph limit this train has today because of the plow. Heavy snow drifts around Winthrope, IA and Warren, IL areas will keep this plow busy on the trip into Chicago.
