Remarks & Notes
An eastbound unit coal train is exiting the Fraser River canyon as it climbs to the continental divide at Moffat Tunnel. There are 3 units adding their muscle mid-train, and they will be used all the way down to Denver and will then stay with the train on the Joint Line, to a utility plant in Colorado Springs. The Rio Grande was a class act.
