| A Penn Central SD35 and a Penn Central GP35 lead WISE1x through Haworth. Apparently this was an extra (hence the X) from Wilmington DE to Selkirk NY. The SD35 was delivered to Pennsylvania in 1965 and was a class EF25a. GP35 #2342 in the rear also arrived on the Pennsylvania in 1965, but was a class EF25. A former CR rail informed me that the SD35/GP35 set was probably a headache to the crew due to their unreliable multi-step transition systems. |
