Sunday night brought heavy rain to the Eau Claire area causing a storm drain to plug up. Water then gushed over the hill and took out part of UP's Chippewa Falls branch line just north of Yukon Jct. Three days later, the city works to replace the storm drain and reopen the line. Plans are to have the storm drain fixed by noon tomorrow.
