After suffering 88 minutes of delay due to NS 153's troubles, Amtrak 80 is finally up to track speed as it shakes the windows on the former Southern Railway station in Landis.

Three north-south routes cross the Carolinas. Auto Train runs through here, too. Also, the State of North Carolina sponsors the Piedmont service and supports the Carolinian.
