The longest cane trains in Australia are operated by Plane Creek Mill from Sarina to the southern Terminus at Karloo. A remote helper is located mid-train. Shown here on the return leg with a 3800ft, 1800 ton train at Koumala. Yes, it is 2 foot gauge!
