| The 6pm steeple bell of the Mary Helen United Methodist Church echo’s through the holler as C821-24’s pair of CSX CW44AC’s “plug” flood load their second cut of TN Eastman bound black diamonds at JRL Coal’s “Creech” tipple in Mary Helen, Kentucky.
Mary Helen is easily one of my favorite places I’ve ever spent an afternoon, tons of Eastern Kentucky history still hanging on.
