Remarks & Notes
Pump Flat | On the night of March 23, 2026, R110A pump cars were transferred from Coney Island Yard in Brooklyn to Westchester Yard in the Bronx. R255 hybrid locomotives HL001, HL014, and HL017 led the train, towing R110A pump cars P8001 - P8005 (original car numbers prepended with a "P"), R252 flat car F881, and R72 pump flat PF219. Seen here is car PF219, an R72 built by Garrett Corp. in 1983, on the end of the train as it passes through 125th Street Station on the Lexington Avenue Line. The headlights on car P8005 cast an eerie glow around the pump equipment.
