| Catenary Repair at Red Bank.
On March 12, 2026, a Long Branch-bound NJ Transit train became disabled and damaged the overhead catenary wire just north (railroad east) of Red Bank station on the North Jersey Coast Line. Once the disabled train was moved, Geismar VMB-161 catenary car OP1022 was brought in to repair the overhead wire.
Here the car is seen east of the home signal at BANK interlocking, waiting for other crews to finish their work before it can move down into the job site. |
