The 2ZAGAL, aka the “Mongolian Pepsi-can” locomotive (a modernized 2M62 fitted with the GE 7FDL engine), rumbles through the mountains with an intermodal train from Russia to China, passing Schatan Mountain in the heart of the Trans-Mongolian Railway on a beautiful, crystal-clear winter morning.
